Thermal Imaging – See Your Building Blindspots
Thermal imaging is a core part of every energy assessment we do in the Southern Highlands.
It reveals what’s hidden behind walls, ceilings, and floors — pinpointing heat loss, insulation gaps, air leaks, and thermal bridges with precision.
Think of it as x-ray vision for your building’s thermal performance — no guesswork, just a clear picture of where your home has weak points and insulation gaps.
Whether you’re preparing for a retrofit or check existing insulation, thermal imaging delivers insights that are clear, visual, and incredibly effective.

Above are examples of what a thermal camera sees – the dark blue areas are the coldest, green medium, and red warmer or hot.
One image shows a cold area behind a built in cupboard indicating an air leak or lack of insulation in that wall. Another image shows a ceiling cold spot which indicates poorly laid insulation around a light fitting. The final image is of a front door with a cold strip at the base showing poor weather / air sealing.
